Was macht man in diesem Beruf?

Als Kaufmann/-frau im E-Commerce erledigen Sie verschiedene Aufgaben im Onlinehandel.

Sie sind für vieles zuständig. Ihre Bereiche, in denen Sie arbeiten sind: Einkauf, Werbung, Logistik, Buchhaltung oder IT.

 

  • Sie pflegen neue Produkte in einen Shop ein. Hierfür wird ein neues Produkt angelegt – entweder fotografieren Sie die Produkte selbst oder Sie bekommen die Bilder vom Hersteller und somit müssen Sie diese nur noch hochladen, eine Produktbeschreibung schreiben und den Preis festlegen.

 

  • Zusätzlich sind Sie auch für den Kundenservice zuständig. Mit den Kunden kommunizieren Sie per E-Mail, Chat oder Telefon. Sie beraten sie oder kümmern sich um verschiedene Anfragen, Reklamationen oder Lieferwünsche.

 

  • Außerdem gehört die effiziente Beschaffung von Waren und Dienstleistungen zu Ihrem Tätigkeitsbereich.

 

  • Auch das Marketing gehört zu Ihren Aufgaben. Sie planen Onlinemarketingmaßnahmen, zum Beispiel über Social Media und erstellen eigene Werbeanzeigen.

Wo arbeitet man?

Als Kaufmann/-frau im Bereich E-Commerce kann man überall dort arbeiten, wo der Fokus auf dem Online-Handel liegt, das könnte zum Beispiel bei Herstellerbetrieben oder im Einzel-, Groß- und Außenhandel sein, die Onlineshops betreiben, aber auch bei Touristikunternehmen, Logistikbetrieben oder Speditionen. Theoretisch kann man die Arbeit natürlich von überall aus machen, da Sie ja vorwiegend online arbeiten.

Ablauf:

In der dualen Ausbildung sind Sie 3 Tage in dem Betrieb und 2 Tage in der Berufsschule. Im Betrieb erlernen Sie die Praxis des Berufsbildes und übernehmen konkrete Aufgaben. In der Berufsschule wird Ihnen das theoretische Hintergrundwissen vermittelt.

Rechtlich ist kein bestimmter Schulabschluss vorgeschrieben.

Prüfung

  • In der Ausbildung absolvieren Sie in der Mitte des zweiten Ausbildungsjahres Ihre Zwischenprüfung. Diese heißt Teil I der Abschlussprüfung.

 

  • Am Ende der Ausbildung folgt dann Teil II der Abschlussprüfung. Nach Bestehen sind Sie staatlich anerkannte/r Kaufmann/-frau im E-Commerce.

Welche Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten gibt es?

 

Durch Anpassungsweiterbildung kann man seine Fachkenntnisse aktuell halten, auf den neuesten Stand bringen und erweitern. Das Themenspektrum reicht dabei von E-Business und Online-Marketing bis hin zu Controlling.

  • Markt-, Kommunikationsforschung (grundständig)

 

Mit einer Hochschulzugangsberechtigung kann man auch studieren und beispielsweise einen Bachelorabschluss erwerben.

  • Internetbasierte Systeme, E-Services (grundständig)
  • Marketing, Vertrieb (grundständig)
  • Werbung, Marketingkommunikation (grundständig)

 

Auch der Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit ist möglich, z.B. als Onlinehändler/in oder als Vermittler/in von Dienstleistungen und Erzeugnissen, die im Onlinevertrieb angeboten werden.
